Flash and HTML5 1080p

Above Flash
So here we have both HTML5 and Flash (Gala, OS X) going head to head playing a 1080p YouTube video.
Flash makes good use of the GPU, around half the CPU utilisation of HTML5.

Awesome setup. I just ordered a set of cactus triggers and been reading up that connecting an umbrella will cause an unstable connection from the cactus mount and flash.. My question, is where did you get your Hotshoe Connection at? I would appreciate the help!! Thanx =D
As far as a hot shoe mount with a cord…
I prefer the Kaiser branded one, but its out of stock.
This one looks ok though.
Its what I use to connect my Cactus V2s to the Canon 580exII

Now, if someone made a very short male to male PC sync cord we wouldnt need these things.
OOOH!!! I found some. Kind of pricey though.

Its good to see flash running with low CPU Usage. Im quite amazed that HTML5 uses more CPU power lol.
That’s unfair, Gala was released what, yesterday?
And your MacBook Pro has a dedicated GPU. Mac users like me just have chipsets.
@Jack Pierce
I ran this on the 9400M, the same chipset as what your MacBook has.
Well, my other argument still stands.
Gala was released this week, Try comparing them without gala, and try running HTML 5 in a decent browser?
@Jack Pierce
Chrome isn’t a decent browser?
I’m sure the old version would do worse here yeah, valid point ,but why would you run the old version?
I get similar results, good to see Adobe finally getting their act together on OSX.
@The Lundmark
Yeah definitely
